black and white Barbie art

Some lovely illustrations from various issues of Barbie Bazaar magazine, mostly ads for doll shops. Most of the art is only signed with initials so I do not know the name of the artists.

Dolly dingle mystery baby and ad

June 1927

Here's a cute baby from Dolly Dingle's world drawn by Grace G. Drayton in the Pictorial Review magazine, but I do not know the date of it!  Most of my other Dolly Dingle collection is sorted and dated but this baby was not. Also I included an ad featuring Dolly Dingle for the Collectibles Illustrated magazine.  If anyone knows the date of this baby, please let me know!  Enjoy!

Thank you Retha for posting an uncut version of the baby paper doll on her website http://paperdollsandtoys.wordpress.com/2013/08/29/dolly-dingles-nephew/
The date of this doll is June 1927

Dollies to Paint Cutout and Dress

A partial not so great condition set of Dollies to Paint (ect) from Saalfield publishing company. It's missing parts, colored and cut out, but I still find it sweet.

A very large and lovely black and white paper doll set from Charles Ventura featuring bridal gowns of the 1800s and two dolls.  Charles Ventura did many black and white bridal sets, all which are lovely and detailed as well as historically inspired.
